Intro + Personality

On stage he is incredibly charming, engrossing and almost hypnotic… Off stage he’s tired, and ornery and down right tyrannical. He’s horribly perfectionist, he can and will find the smallest mistakes in any performance, he demands the best and has zero regard for human life or care for his human workers. He strives to make his shows bigger and better than what any human could ever do- and for a man who regards humans as below him he sure does care a lot about out-doing them and gaining their attention.

On stage; Gullinkambi's on stage and costumer service persona is incredibly charming, cordial and affable. Thrives of audience participation. Tries to be as accommodating as possible to unhappy fair-goers but you can see in his eyes he absolutely seething. Incredibly manipulative and very condescending.

Off stage; Stern grumpy hard-ass, often times in a some sort of foul mood over something. Horribly perfectionist and can find an small flaw in a performance or anything to nitpick over. He deems himself "cruel but fair", he is only one of those things. Says he doesn't play favorites but he absolutely does, *cough* Cellis *cough* and will continuously excuses who ever he favors bad behavior. Still incredibly manipulative and very condescending.

The Circus

While as much as gull is dedicated to performance his circus is little more than a lure for humans, a ploy to feed off human emotions, flesh, and blood. But to avoid detection only a few people are taken from each town they settle in before they move on to the next, a lot can and will leave unscathed, but those who go alone are more likely to be taken for either food or lord forbid “future performers”. People who show some form of talent that Gull could exploit will be taken and mangle beyond recognition for their new roles and lives.

Most human performers have been surgically mangled into new horrible shapes so Gull can

expend less energy on the collective illusion. Most have been there for centuries and have grown used to placating and navigating Gull’s temper. Very few people have escaped Gulls grasp, as most being over several centuries old leaving the circus grounds would result in rapidly aging then dying. Most performers have forgotten their names and families long ago, no one really remembers life before this. Other fae are employed in for acts and performances that no human even dream of completing.

The Circus grounds are firmly under Gulls influence and power, painting over any grime or gore so as to not frighten away any prospective customers or to alert any person who could stop him to what's really happening. Most who leave won't really have the clearer memories of it, only glossy fragments of acts or events.

Character Relationships

Cellis: One if not the biggest liability and annoyance in his life and yet he can't seem to gather the will to fire him. While Gull tends to kinda treat him like a nuisance he is actually very fond of him, in that more fatherly way. Though he his not fond of how Cellis skips work so often, shows up late, or just does nothing and goes and hides till his shift is over.

Issac: The one who does all of Gull’s dirty work, he's the Circus’s one and only surgeon and doctor and is directly responsible for mangling performers. He’s only here because his grandfather, the previous doctor, made a deal to let Gull have the next doctor born to take his place in exchange for his freedom. Gull doesn't feel partially strongly for him and is more than happy to work him down to the bone.
